Top Secret Recipes … sshhhhh

I love the Top Secret Recipes cookbooks and web page. In case you have not heard of Top Secret Recipes, I will tell you more about it. Top Secret Recipes publishes just that – top secret recipes. If you love going to your favorite restaurant, but want to save money by cooking at home, you may be able to look up the restaurant’s recipes online.

The first time I had heard of Top Secret Recipes was when I saw their cookbook at Wal-Mart. I immediately grabbed it as I did their second cookbook when it was released. Lately though, I have become a lazy cook. It is so much easier to research a recipe online then to thumb through a cookbook. Fortunately, many Top Secret Recipes can be found free online at http://www.topsecretrecipes.com/home.asp.

Among the recipes available online are Applebee’s Chicken Fajita Roll-up, Boston Market’s Meatloaf, Chili’s Boneless Buffalo Wings, Houston’s Coleslaw, and Olive Garden’s Chicken Scampi. They also have fast food recipes such as the In-N-Out Double-Double, McDonald’s French Fries, Sonic Drive-In’s Signature Burgers, Wendy’s Wild Mountain Bacon Cheeseburger, and Popeyes Red Beans & Rice (my husband’s personal favorite).

Are you looking for a great dessert recipe? You can look up the recipe for the famous Cheesecake Factory Original Cheesecake at Top Secret Recipes. Or maybe you are on a diet. That does not stop you from being able to make the Applebee’s Low-Fat and Fabulous Brownie Sundae.

Top Secret Recipes does not just have restaurant recipes either. You can find the recipe for Dolly Madison Zingers (Devil’s Food), the 7-Eleven Cherry Slurpee, Bull’s-Eye Original BBQ Sauce, and Kraft Stove Top Stuffing.

Many of the recipes online are free, but not all. If you find a recipe you want that is not free, you can either purchase the cookbook online or buy the individual recipe for 79 cents. Each week, they have a free top secret recipe. This week, it is the recipe for the Subway Chipotle Southwest Sauce.

Be sure to check this out each week to see the free recipe. It may be something you’ve been dying to know how to make a home!

About Libby Pelham

I have always loved to write and Families.com gives me the opportunity to share my passion for writing with others. I work full-time as a web developer at UTHSC and most of my other time is spent with my son (born 2004). I love everything pop culture, but also enjoy writing about green living (it has opened my eyes to many things!) and health (got to worry about that as you get older!).
