Two Scrumptious Breakfast Bake Recipes

Are you tired of the same old breakfast dishes? Here are two great recipes that combine some of your favorite ingredients to make scrumptious breakfast bakes!

Easy Breakfast Bake

For this recipe, you will need two 12-ounce packages of pork sausage, one green bell pepper (chopped), one medium onion (chopped), frozen hash browns, shredded cheddar cheese, Bisquick, milk, and eggs.

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Cook the two packages of sausage in a skillet with one cup of chopped bell pepper and 1/2 cup of chopped onion over medium heat. Stir until done then drain. Combine the sausage mixture with 3 cups of hashed browns and 1 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese then pour that mixture into a 13 x 9 inch greased baking dish. In a medium bowl, mix one cup of Bisquick, two cups of milk, four eggs, and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper. Once that is mixed well, pour that over the sausage mixture in the baking dish. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese and bake two to three more minutes.

Crunchy Breakfast Bake

For this recipe, you will need chopped cooked ham, a green bell pepper (chopped), instant chopped onions, mushroom pieces, chex cereal (wheat, rice, or corn), shredded cheddar cheese, Bisquick, milk, and eggs.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a skillet, cook two cups of chopped ham, one cup of chopped bell pepper, 2 tablespoons of instant chopped onion, and one 4-ounce can of mushrooms (drained) for five minutes, stirring frequently.

Spread 3 cups of cereal in the bottom of a 13 x 9 inch greased baking dish. Pour the ham mixture on top of that and sprinkle with one cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Combine one cup of Bisquick with two cups of milk and four eggs. Pour that over the ham mixture then top with two more cups of cereal. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
