Water Gets a Face Lift with Hint

I love to drink water. Nothing is more refreshing than a cold glass of water. However, my kids are not huge water fans. I allow juice and milk at meal times and water throughout the day. Many times I don’t even buy juice due to the amount of sugar it contains. Whole fruit is far better for a child than a glass of juice. Yet, my kids are always jazzing up their water either with a squeeze of lemon or lime. I understand how boring water can become. However, the options out there normally contain too many calories or sugar. If there is flavor and no sugar or calories that normally means it is filled with fake sugars which are unhealthy.

Hint answers the call and offers flavored water with no fake sugars, no sugar, and no calories only plain refreshing water with the essence of fruit flavor. It comes in fun flavors like cucumber, raspberry lime, blackberry, watermelon, mango grapefruit, honeydew hibiscus, pear, pomegranate tangerine and strawberry kiwi. With all those flavors you can drink water all day without fear of boredom. You can indulge in fun flavors without the cost of calories or sugar intake.

You cannot drink something all day if it does not taste good. So the real test is the taste of Hint. It’s a great concept but I know I won’t buy something if the taste is not there. I especially would not buy it for my kids if they did not agree with the taste. I had the pleasure of being able to sample six flavors of Hint. I sampled blackberry, watermelon, mango grapefruit, pomegranate tangerine, strawberry kiwi, and raspberry lime. My kids and I all took turns trying each flavor and coming up with favorites. My favorite is the blackberry but I also enjoyed the raspberry lime. Three of my children loved the strawberry kiwi while the other thought it was too sweet. Can you believe that? She thought water was too sweet? There is no sugar in this water. She did like the raspberry lime. I did not like the watermelon but only because I expected it to have more of a distinct flavor. The pomegranate tangerine had a nice mix of flavor but did not appeal to the kids as much while we all liked the mango grapefruit.

In the end, I would have to say that if you are seeking a flavor your child will enjoy go for the strawberry kiwi. Normally, I do not like strawberry kiwi anything because it is often very sweet. Since Hint does not contain sugar it was not too sweet yet I was quite surprised with the sweetness and flavor. Of all the flavors this one stood out the most. This is the flavor that will appeal to most children. If you have a child resistant to water than this is the flavor to start with. Hint now has limited edition Yogi Bear bottles to celebrate the new movie coming out in December. I can’t think of a better flavor to use for Yogi Bear.
