Win a Trip to Rome for Eat Pray Love Premiere!

crop of Eat Pray Love Have you read the book “Eat, Pray, Love” by Elizabeth Gilbert? This book is a bestseller, a favorite of many people, and has recently been made into a movie. Want to go to the premiere? Enter the sweepstakes from Kohl’s!

It is called the Eat, Pray, Love Sweepstakes. Winners get to have a seven-day, six-night trip to Rome, to see the premiere of the film based on the book. The trip is for four people, which means you can take three people of your choice with you. Each person is given $1,000 spending cash, and exclusive VIP tickets to the red carpet for the movie premiere. You can enter the sweepstakes anytime between August 1, 2010, and August 28, 2010. The Grand Prize winner will be selected on August 30, 2010. Fans of the book will not want to miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity to be at the premiere of the movie that is based on the popular book. It would be exciting to win a trip to Rome!

To enter the sweepstakes, you must be a legal resident of the United States. You have to be at least eighteen years old to enter. There is a link on the website for the sweepstakes that you can click on to enter. This brings up a window where you need to fill in your name, address, zip code, email address and daytime phone number. You have to have a valid email to enter this contest.

The winner (and her three guests) will be given round trip coach airfare, and ground transportation to and from the airport. The prize includes two standard double occupancy hotel rooms. If you win, you must be able to travel to Rome September 12, 2010, through September 18, 2010. If you are not available to travel at that time, they will select another Grand Prize winner instead. It makes sense to me that you would need to be in Rome when the movie premiere is going to be taking place.

The movie will be released in theaters in the United States on August 13, 2010. I think this means that you will be attending the premiere of the movie when it is released in Italy. The book is non-fiction, and describes Gilbert’s journey after she becomes divorced. She went to Rome to learn about pleasure, (of mostly the food variety), Mumbai for spirituality, and Bali to learn balance. The movie stars Julia Roberts, and is directed by Ryan Murphy.
