Things To Do To Survive An Earthquake - Blog Entry

15 Jul 2006 09:32 PM

I always hear on the news about securing aquariums since they could tip over during an earthquake. Also the pets seem to sense it coming beforehand. I do not have anything on the walls near the beds in case of an earthquake and prints falling onto the bed.

We always record the feelings on the website for Cal Tech and listen to radio reports of callers relaying their experience. One time I was on the toilet when one hit and it was not a pleasant feeling.

I started following her career when she was a photographer at the car racing events and then her fiance had died in a fiery crash, think he was a indy racer and the heir to a champagne company.

Victor's Surprising Diagnosis - Blog Entry

I lost my connection and came back to ask you to cite your source. I was curious to know which website or soap magazine had these interviews or if you had them. Anyway I knew since I read several boards, but I know soap fans are adamant about wanting spoiler alerts and always have spoilers in separate sections.

I read about it the other day, but thought a warning in the title for others who might not know this is about Y&R.

Thanks for the reply - Bonnie

Would be nice to have it listed as a Y&R spoiler alert so those of us in the US do not know ahead of time and make the choice if we want to know ahead of time or view the show and find out at that time.

FLOOR TIME: Promoting Personal Interest and Attention - Blog Entry

14 Jul 2006 09:28 PM

my son Matthew likes to tear paper. I am going to get a ribbon dancer and some pom pom's to teach him to play with them instead. Our floor time therapy in home starts end of this month, before it was at a clinic and I prefer home setting so we can all benefit.

Good tips

Perseveration... Perseveration... Perseveration... - Blog Entry

For my ten year old it is tearing papers. The past few days he got into my bills and shredded quite a few that needed to be paid. I was contemplating getting some pom pom's but first going to get ribbon dancers online as they might give him the sensation from the papers and maybe a similar sound to the tearing of papers.

Years ago the SLP wrote in a report on my now 11 year old about how he perseverated on animals and he is still doing that today, but we make it purposeful and he knows a lot about them. I have to look into savant abilities.
