Also the pets seem to sense it coming beforehand. I do not have anything on the walls near the beds in case of an earthquake and prints falling onto the bed. We always record the feelings on the website for Cal Tech and listen to radio reports of callers relaying their experience. One time I was on the toilet when one hit and it was not a pleasant feeling. I was contemplating getting some pom pom's but first going to get ribbon dancers online as they might give him the sensation from the papers and maybe a similar sound to the tearing of papers. Years ago the SLP wrote in a report on my now 11 year old about how he perseverated on animals and he is still doing that today, but we make it purposeful and he knows a lot about them.
