When You Just Can't Breastfeed

15 Aug 2006 04:21 AM

Thank you for an excellent article! I hated breastfeeding my first daughter, struggled with my son, but now with our youngest daughter it's easy and a joy to share with her. Just depends on the baby in my case, or age! But I wish I'd had your article for comfort many years ago!

Questions About Euthanasia

15 Aug 2006 12:01 AM

Thank you for tackling such a difficult subject. Your list of questions are an inspired idea: the decision is simply too big for many to face, which can put off dealing with it and make the situation worse. But your questions take us step-by-step through the situations, which is a huge help. I hope we never face this decision, but feel more prepared now, just in case. Bookmarked!

Keeping Up with the Jones

14 Aug 2006 05:52 AM

Thank you, THANK you. I love this philosophy. My own definition of success is happiness, and you don't find or make that with money or one-upmanship or fame or beating those freakin' Joneses. Loved your article!

5 Cultural Myths About Starting Solids

13 Aug 2006 12:37 PM

Great article! I never understood why/how folks could spend so much money on those tiny jars; I always fed my kids right from the table. Now I've got another one coming up (two months old) and will be watching you for tips and ideas--thanks!

God bless you and your little son. What a difficult time... but my prayers will be with you, and my family's. Poor little soul, hold him close... and take good care of yourself whenever you can!

Kitchen Guide--Food Storage Part 2

13 Aug 2006 12:30 PM

Thanks! I've been in hospital before with food poisoning; it's no joke. And my husband doesn't listen to me when it comes to leaving things out on the counter all morning, because he's too lazy to put it away... I'm posting your article on the Fridge door tonight! (wish me luck!)

Crafts to Make for Your Pets

12 Aug 2006 02:58 PM

I love your article--hope to see more pet ideas soon! Our puppy likes the home-made toys much better than the commercial squeaky ones (which he doesn't touch). His favourite is a two-litre soda bottle that we dropped a handful of his dog kibble into, then squished flat and bent up so that the kibble was trapped inside but still visible. He goes berserk with it, throwing it, digging at it, shaking it to try to get to the food.

Do Parents Support School Uniforms?

12 Aug 2006 11:18 AM

We have uniforms in Ireland, and I'm glad to have them. I think it promotes the community feeling and loyalty to a school, and does credit to the school when its students are on trips out, etc. But uniform companioes sometimes take advantage, and the costs can be quite high. Great article.

Five Ways for Kids to Learn about the Bible

12 Aug 2006 10:17 AM

Thanks! Great ideas for bringing faith home to kids. We have a bedtime-story kids' bible, and I keep forgetting to pull it down at night... but not tonight! I needed a reminder, and thank you for it.
