Tristi, I found your question, "do we find that we blame God more when our physical needs haven't been met?" to be thought provoking. There's no doubt we complain more when our physical needs aren't met, but as for blaming God, that's where a person shows his/her true colors. If you think about the German concentration camps, there were Jews in them that blamed God and died, and those that blamed God and still lived. But it seems that far more of the survivors called on God and acknowledged His love. And that's the key.

But is it easy? Surely not ...
