I wonder how to get ahold of the Donahue Show and see if I can get permission to do that. I never thought of selling the interview -- well, we'll have to see. In the meantime, next time you are at my house you can just watch it. Joseph Smith: Prophet, Seer and Revelator - Blog Entry14 Apr 2006 11:54 AM To add one more thing -- Joseph's name has been villified across the world, just as had been prophesied. We, as Latter-day Saint, know him to be a man of truth, honor, integrity and righteousness - do not believe the lies. Find the truth for yourselves - on your knees in prayer to your Father in Heaven. My Day on the World Stage - Blog Entry13 Apr 2006 12:48 PM As to Deborah Laake's death. The articles I read said it was an apparent suicide. I know she had indeed suffered much depression through the course of her life and I wasn't surprised to find that she may have killed herself. As to why "The New Times" newspaper didn't write the truth? Perhaps because it would have tainted her reporting somehow. Much more heroic to die of breast cancer rather than having succumbed to the pain, fear and depression. In the eyes of some anyway. My Day on the World Stage - Blog Entry13 Apr 2006 12:46 PM It was a really incredible experience. Even though I am a writer by profession, it's difficult to put into words the many, many things that happened. When I returned back to Utah and went to work the next day, it was to find that most of the building had fasted and prayed for me, Mormon and nonMormon alike. My parents also had incredible experiences during the time I was taping the show. So many things showed me that the Lord will never leave you alone, if you but ask. He was the only one who had to go it alone for a very, very brief time. Loving Thy Neighbor - Blog Entry13 Apr 2006 03:01 AM Ha, ha -- you're a great friend and even better travel companion! Hang in there, one of these days we'll take the straight road home. Here's hoping Bill will keep driving us! Interview with Fresh New Author, Stephanie Fowers - Blog Entry13 Apr 2006 02:59 AM More than welcome, Tristi. It was a blast for me too -- to get to know Stephanie. Immediately, all the single men, who are awesome, that I know came to mind and I started running through which ones would be perfect for Stephanie. Poor lady, she doesn't what she's in for. They are awesome guys, I promise, Stephanie. |
