I have been married for twenty years, and my wife and I have raised two children. Our son is a college freshman, majoring in Electrical Engineering. Our daughter is a junior in high school and vice president of the Student Council. Between them, our children have been involved in dance, marching band, concert band, chorus, drama, National Honor Society, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), religious education and social youth groups, a community teen center, and a long-running youth-based initiative to serve the tourists who visit our village's riverfront park throughout the boating season. My wife and I have both been there with them, working as parental support for many of the activities in which our children were involved. I am a computer programmer and multimedia training developer by trade, with over twenty years of experience with computers and technology. I have been an avid hobby photographer since high school, and have owned and operated my own wedding photography business for two years. I am an aspiring writer for children and adults, with two short stories published within the past five years. I am currently working two jobs, one developing web-based training tutorials for a local utility company, and the other as a part-time sales person for a national computer and technology chain. In my part-time job, I sell and advise customers in the use of digital cameras, camcorders, MP3 players and PDAs. |
