This movie is awesome. Never watch it without a box of tissues though. It is bound to make you cry, cry, cry. Definitely a classic and a must see.

I loved this movie. I'm a huge fan of Sandra Bullock. (I particularly enjoyed "Hope Floats". She and Harry Connick Jr were well paired.)

Back on topic - I need a Victor Melling - ar at least a Carson Kressley. Don't we all dream of a fairy godmother (or godfather) that can wave their wand and make us as beautiful as we're meant to be?

LOL! Thanks for the interview, Tristi. It is always a pleasure to chat with you. As for my gypsy life, well, that was the 5 years following my graduation from High School. I was trying to "find myself". Little did I know it would take another 10 years after that! Thanks again!

LOL It is cheaper all and the way around to just cut your own fat rather than taking a pill to do it for you (and painfully). It just seems like another form of self-abuse to me and, God knows, those of us who are overweight are already our own worst critics.

Yes, it is very scary. I've met too many people who have had the lap band and nearly died from it that I care to mention. Everyone I've met who has had the Roux-n-Y bypass has had wonderful results, lost weight and gone on to live a very healthy life without complications or any of the co-morbidities that they had before the procedure (like high cholesterol, joint pain, heart disease, diabetes, etc.)

Good for you! It is nice to know that there are other parents out there who are selective about what their kids watch.

Yeah, no kidding! They're industrial sized staples and look pretty freaky.
