We need more good programming like this and less of those "reality" shows, if you ask me. Bill Cosby Strikes Again - Blog Entry04 May 2008 10:21 AM Our society has been wallowing in political correctness for far too long. I say, "Amen, Dr. Cosby!" (He does have a PhD in Education.) I think it is high time we all start talking about OUR society (black, white or whatever) in definite and constructive terms. Let's stop sugar-coating everything in the holy name of diversity, roll up our sleeves, and fix what is wrong instead of turning a blind eye. I've always been a fan of Bill Cosby's and will continue to be. Television Actor Keeps Legacy Alive - Blog Entry04 May 2008 10:13 AM Awesome blog, Tristi! Thanks for linking to all of these sites! I am so loving it :-) I read all the Laura Ingalls books as a kid. I still treasure them and am thrilled to hear that Dean is doing the Almanzo documentary. I can't wait to see it! I may also have to take a trip to MN for the musical. Lucky my in-laws live there! What Would Mike Myers Say? - Blog Entry01 May 2008 01:00 PM To the second question, I believe that Mike Myers would say "Schwing!" Living a Life without Regret - Blog Entry01 May 2008 05:53 AM I agree with you, Tristi. What really concerns me is the fact that parents aren't thinking either. In the case of Miss Cyrus, I can see where she may be excited at the prospect of being photographed by one of the greatest photographers of the modern era. Even I would be a bit starstruck and I'm 40! However, her parents should have been thinking for her. After all, she is only 15 and can't possibly be expected to understand or foresee the fuss & ramifications of a photograph. Her parents should have considered her Disney image and the simple fact that she is only 15 and should NOT be portrayed as a sex symbol and said "Thanks, Ann. That's a lovely photo of our beautiful daughter but we cannot allow such a photo to be published." How difficult would it have been for them to say that? I mean, really? What's the Big Deal? - Blog Entry27 Apr 2008 07:17 PM I honestly think Mayer is trying to boost his own ratings by dating so many well-photographed starlets. Some musicians/actors just seem to need to be in somebody's spotlight if they can't get one of their own. The Scarsdale Diet - Blog Entry24 Apr 2008 06:23 AM NOOOO...No fried foods are ever allowed on any diet but the Atkins Diet. Celebrities Tightening Security - Blog Entry21 Apr 2008 01:18 PM It is probably only shocking to her because he is her only fan!
