Glad I could help :-) It really is amazing how some extra vitamins can really help us lose weight. It seems as though if our bodies aren't getting enough of the right nutrients, everything stalls.

Legal System Fails Child in Horrible Abuse Case

01 Jan 2007 08:28 AM

I had a 16-year old friend, Becky, who had been sexually abused for years by her mother's boyfriend. After a difficult court battle, the man was supposedly out of their lives. Sadly, when Becky's mother (Bad Mom) discovered she was pregnant with the man's child, she informed Becky that she would have to leave her home (and her little sister) and live with her father because the boyfriend was moving back in and Bad Mom and boyfriend would be raising their child together. This woman effectively chose her boyfriend over her own child's safety.

Shortly after 16-year-old abused Becky received her eviction orders, she put a bullet in her own head and died.

The system doesn't work.

Review: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

OK, I did a crazy thing and gave this bad boy a try on my carpet. I had tea stains and a pet stain that were making me crazy. I've tried every chemical on them except bleach and all to no avail.

The Magic Eraser worked like a charm!!!

There was no discoloration of my carpet except for the removal of the pesky stains. This this is AWESOME!

Food Storage: Milk

My son is still a toddler so I don't want to only offer him skim milk if we get snowed in. This is great information about evaporated milk! I'm going to stock up on the 3%. Thank you so much!

Military Preparations for the Beginning & End of the Holidays

LOL! Don't I know this! I've already begun putting together our travel plans for the 2007 holidays. Traveling long distance means we'll need to send gifts ahead, board our dogs during the busiest time of year for boarding and plan for winter contingencies in the Rockies. It isn't easy being the family Loadmaster! :-)

The Best Ways to Save Water

28 Dec 2006 02:18 PM

Here's a little trick I use:

If you don't have a brick handy to pop in the toilet tank, fill a 2 liter pop bottle with water and set it in there. It will stay in place since it is full of water, your toilet will still flush fine and you'll be saving over a gallon of water with every two flushes!
