Friends in need get food and then a shoulder to lean on. Loved ones get fat during the holidays. "Food is love" is something I've struggled with in past years simply because when I needed something for my soul, I've turned to food. Unlike your friend, I am enjoying every moment - even the tantrums can be funny. In my case, I feel that my age, experience and lifestyle have allowed me to be much more zen about the experience and really appreciate every moment of it. She was a great customer for many months. One day I stopped by to make my delivery and she was out. Silly me, I left the product thinking that I could stop by later for the cash and she'd be good for it as she'd always been. Well, she never answered her door again and always let her machine get her phone calls after that. Never underestimate the amount of energy a person will exert to get something for nothing even if it is at your cost. Paris Hilton has hardly had a good example from her own parents therefore her judgments are bound to be a bit skewed.
