OK, you got me.

I've never been a Clooney fan because he always seemed to be all talk and publicity smoke. Blah, blah, blah, I'm so good and you stink because I'm so socially progressive and blah, blah, blah - yeah, the Oscar speech.

But writing a check to buy helicopters has almost redeemed him in my eyes. I still won't watch his movies but I won't harbor nearly as much resentment toward his "I'm the second coming" attitude any more.

What a slap in the face from Peta. "Yeah, we want you come over here and be our (female dog) and get crapped on by all the self-righteous, holier-than-thou (female dogs) who work here. In exchange for you getting kicked like this when you're so obviously down, we'll donate a token amount to a children's charity so that we still look like the good guys."

Those people have no class.

I'll save dogs and cats by donating directly to shelters and rescue operations, thank you.

As for that Joey Fatone, he's one working fella lately, huh? That stint on dancing with the stars just danced his career up a notch! Go, Joe!

OK, I have to say that watching the third Star Wars movie (released as the sixth) completely rocked my world. I grew up with Star Wars 4,5 and 6 and Darth Vader was completely evil in my mind. Then, in my late 30's, I discovered how Annekin Skywalker became Darth Vader and I cried. I sobbed. I sobbed for Annekin, for his mother, his wife and his children but I sobbed for myself too. The character that I knew as evil all my life was now someone whom I had genuine pity for. My world will never be the same.

I find Mariah Carey so underwhelming. If Elvis or the Beatles had the sort of PR machines that hacks like MC have now, nobody would have come close to their records.

I'm thrilled that Jen is launching her own production company. Most big stars become big stars because they do have their own production companies and seek out scripts that will be excellent vehicles for their particular talents. Personally, I'd love to see Aniston in more movies. She really does have a good range and needs to get out from under "Rachel" typecasting.

You know, anybody who has watched the Crocodile Hunter is well aware that Bob and his wife put their blood and sweat into Australia Zoo for many years. What really made it take off as a major franchise is Steve and Terri's knack for PR. (What fan didn't see them on their honeymoon or witness the birth of Bindi?) It isn't surprising that a blood & sweat guy like Bob might clash with a PR and business savvy woman like Terri without the gentle influence of Steve to moderate and gel the two.

Bob & Terri are from two different worlds (and continents). The sad thing is that nobody will ever straddle those two worlds like Steve did.

Amazing. I remember Whitney before Bobby and she always looked healthy and vibrant. After Bobby, she started looking bleary-eyed, emaciated and wan. I think that speaks for itself. As for Bobby, he's never been known as a stand-up guy so why should we expect his book to be anything more than the kind of rubbish he's spouted all along?
