Ebay charges you to sell items based on the total price of the item, but not the shipping. So if you lower the price of the product and raise the price of shipping, your profit margin is greater, and you lure more people in to look at your product. Sad but true.

One thing I recommend to Ebay shoppers is the Jbid Watcher. It's a completely free sniping tool. http://www.jbidwatcher.com/ It's great because you don't have to wait around until the end of the auction to see if someone will try and outbid you in the last minute. You can just go to work or sleep and it'll snipe it for you. =)
