I am a new Air Force wife, and that is pretty much how the days go, except we don't have kids yet (we are hoping for one soon), and he starts work at 5 and is home by 3 or 4. And add my work/school schedule in there and it makes for some interesting times. Haven't been through a deployment yet, only the three months of tech school for cross-training, and that was hard enough. But we make it through!
