That is also one reason I homeschool mine. They can get a broader picture and are free to discuss and consider. We do not use a canned curriculum either.

Again, I am arguing for neither evolution or creation. I am speaking directly to the arrogancy of teaching evolutionary theory as a fact and pretending there are no weaknesses to it.

Getting kids started in sports

My youngest is 7. I have 7 children. I carefully select the neighborhoods we live in. The sandlot/street sports I was talking about can still happen safely.

The problem at hand is that evolution is no longer taught as a theory but as a fact. Only the strengths are taught, the weaknesses of evolution are ignored. This is indoctrination.

Getting kids started in sports

I ran track and was on a diving team in High School. I am 50. I grew up when sandlot and street ball ruled. My early youth was non stressful in sports. We were not competing against other times.
