It is recognized the the low fidelity of the cellphone audio signal requires more brain power to decipher it. So the brain goes into overdrive when talking on the phone, making it harder to multitask.

Cellphones are very family friendly. I use it mainly to coordinate with my wife and talk to my brothers and sisters. But I'm thankful that it is illegal to drive with them here in NY. But we have another problem, people on their bicycles talking on the phone.

What was that she was wearing? Did it really fit? And why start off with the awful medium shot. Once I got past the facelift, I much preferred the closeups although I don't remember seeing her with all that eyeliner. But maybe the morning sunlight glared it out or probably it was a pain to put on as she limoed into work at 4AM. The show was OK. Standard network panic. The studio was way over the top with too much CG. Friedman was real star. I admit I enjoyed the Cruise family pics though. I'm afraid its back to Lou Dobbs tommorrow though.
