Holidaying with the kids

Well it's been almost 4 months now since our little girl was born and we're looking forward to our first holiday, wahey! We're taking a boat out of Croatia and sailing round the islands and towns there which should be exciting, just a little worried about how Summer's going to get on with being on board although I'm sure she'll be fine.

Cycling to work

As another cyclist raced past my stationary vehicle on the way into work today I wondered if it might be better to don my lycra and cycle to work.   I'm becoming more concious of my environmental impact on the planet and also the rise in the cost in fuel and so when I got into work, I took a quick look at my route into work on Google maps and saw that it was only 14.8 miles.

Building our home

Casually mentioning that I'd been doing some research into building our next family home to Emma when I got in last night wasn't such a great idea in hindsight Emma looked tired and stressed  (not like in the picture) after looking after a poorly Summer (she's got a cold) all day and being constantly mithered by phone calls.

Holidays with babies!?

Summer's here! Well, our little girl, Summer Jayne has arrived at long last!  She's settling in well and hasn't caused us too many sleepless nights yet! Responsibility Previously, we've only ever had ourselves to worry about when deciding on where to go but we're finding it a challenge to take the little one into account.

Marketing agency

I now work for a marketing agency  based in Birmingham, UK.  It takes me around an hour to get into work everyday on the train from Stourbridge station.

Travel insurance for families

Before I was a dad, I never used to bother with travel insurance which, when I look back at it was absolutely crazy considering some of the places I ended up in (Middle east, far east etc).   Now I'm a dad, I've started to worry about "dad" things like where to park my car, weeds in the garden and sleep.
