Great advice Aimee. I just finished reading How Doctor's Think by Dr. Jerome Groopman. It was sobering to realize that as patients, we really need to be responsible for managing our own health care. The doctors need as much information as we can possibly give them in order to be successful in treating us and given that, there is still room for error. Staying aware, staying informed and being proactive are keys to effectively manage and hopefully maintain quality health.
