Foods today contain harmful chemicals that not only cause disease, and that is bad enough, but disrupt hormones and cause weight gain.  You mat be having trouble losing weight due to chemicals in processed foods.  Why should all your hard work and good health be threatened by chemicals? Clean out your cupboards and cleanse your body by eating whole foods and not processed, sugary and chemical filled foods. The idea seems daunting but the process can be simplified into small steps.

The first thing you want to do is avoid anything with high fructose corn syrup. It causes your blood sugar to be destable and makes you feel hungrier. No one needs to feel hungrier when they are dieting.

Secondly, add in more fresh fruit and vegetables to your diet. Yes, that advice never goes out of style. However, you will want to avoid buying nonorganic since it contains weight gain causing chemicals. The ones to especially avoid are: peaches, apples, sweet bell peppers, celery, nectarines, strawberries, cherries, kale, lettuce, imported grapes, carrots, pears. To save a bit of money you can buy watermelon, onions, asparagus, kiwi, eggplant, cabbage, sweet potatoes, sweet peas, and mangoes, without worrying about being nonorganic since they retain the least amount of pesticides.

Don’t eat what you cannot pronounce. Rid your life of foods with more than one ingredient. Potatoes are one ingredient but potatoe chips or boxed potatoes au gratin contain several ingreidents with most being unnatural. So grab an apple, pear, or a banana, for a snack not a bag of 100 calories of checmisals. When your cook use simple and pure whole foods such as chicken with spinach. Add in all your herbs, lemon, olive oil, coconut oil, tomatoes, peppers, garlic, and whatever you like to flavor it and make taste delicious. Think simple and combine whole foods and single ingredients together to create tasty and exciting meals.
