Not gaining weight...

I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. My little man gained less than a pound between his 9 month and 15 month check ups.

Where do you work and what do you do?

I work full-tiime in a hospital as a case manager. It's not my ideal job as a parent, but I'm finding that it isn't as easy to get back into a nursing position as I thought it would be.

Scared Momma, first baby, Dr. says it is LARGE!!

They told me that my son would be 7.5-8lbs. David was only 5lb 7oz when he was born. As for bigger babies not being "cute", my friend's cousin is on baby #4, and her babies were all over 9lbs.

circumcision/adhesion

We had to do the same thing with David. We also were told to put a little petroleum jelly on it. David is fine now.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We spent eight days in Kona, Hawaii. It's not a commercialized as Maui, so it was perfect. We figured that it would be difficult to go once we had children. Would I go back? In a heartbeat!

What does your baby enjoy?

My cousin and his girlfriend bought David a Fisher Price Learning Puppy, and he absolutely loves it. He also really loves his playmat. Anything that plays music really gets David's attention.

April 2007 Mommies

My little guy was born on April 26th. He's having fun rolling onto his belly all day and all night. We also think that he is in the beginning stages of teething.

When to start

My son's pediatrician told us that we could start offering him cereal at his 4 month appointment a month ago. He had absolutely no interest in it, so we didn't try again until yesterday.
