Adoption: Perspective from an Amazing Encounter (birth mother to birth mother)

A few months ago I ran an errand to my local Salon. While I was there I met a young woman and we started to chat. I asked about her Thanksgiving Day and she politely inquired about mine. I mentioned that it was ‘okay’ considering it was the first one since ‘mama’ died (in February). She mentioned that a friend of hers had died in an auto accident recently.

Need a friend

...and really no social interaction except the once a week grocery trip I feel like I'm going crazy. Help!!! IF you can improve on THAT one aspect, it will make a HUGE difference.

Boys names for girls??

I agree with your comments about the author of the article. His/her comments are opinions, not facts. Besides, saying that Madison, Emerson etc. are 'horrid' names and are only masculine is silly.

Where do you get your digitals developed?

I used to get my printed on-line (snapfish) but the quality was so bad most of the time. When I bought my first SLR I had the option of buying a photo printer with it for only an additional $139.00.

As a survivor of abuse, I can well understand your daughter's thinking: "...one reason she didn't speak up at the time because she didn't think anyone would believe her...
