It is critical to keep children involved in projects. Recently we wrote a newspaper using premade templates that a teacher created; we found http://www.buildanewspaper.com. They're way different because we chose our own level (words per story), page size, and they're formatted for easy use. Includes placeholders for photos, "advertisements" and articles; The kids researched periods in history and created one. We're going to use their "family news" paper template for our Christmas letter this year, and have all 3 children write an article!
