And I already worry about being to quick to play the race card. I am definitely not as experienced at looking for a problem but when the asst principal even admitted it, wellll. I didn't put it in the blog, but I told the lady at the new school about it and she said that he would be favored there, they want him to succeed.

For many of these kids it has been out of the frying pan and in to the fire. They are obviously desparate for foster homes. And that is a reflection of how many children are in abusive homes. It is a real crisis. Thanks for your comments.

To think that our children could have been sent to one of those homes. The real problem is that not enough good people feel like they can keep these children. The system is desparate and so substandard homes have to be used. It is very, very sad. You are right, Artcraft, it is actually beyond sad.

Nancy and I love to read. If they see us reading they follow sometimes.

Also, one of our grown children liked to read so much that a teacher complained about it, can you imagine. During recess, she would climb a tree and read. The teacher called and said that worried her, we told her that it didn't bother us.

When it was really crazy, we had one friend that we could call when it was out of hand, four hysterical at once, things like that, don't know what we would have done without her. I have a blog about it on my list to write.

We have also discovered it is absolutely necessary to get away, Nancy and I be alone for an evening, our grown children, good friends, and post adoptive services have helped with that. The batteries must be recharged now and then.

It is a very sore subject for the parents of the 200,000 children who were impacted by the cutbacks. We will see if the new leadership in congress cares as much about us as they say they do.
