Muself, after my first pregnancy I ran with my son in the stroller and when he napped I stopped and did a set of squats and lunges and push ups...after my second baby the weight increased and I have to admit that it is much harder to push a stroller with 2 agaist the wind but that was I exercise my upper body and tone my legs and stomach...running does not cost anything and is for free! BUT not everyone can run so I decided to help mothers with not a running ability and designed a ULTIMATE BUTT and BODY workout (will be soon posted on my site http://manhattandiet.blogspot.com/ ) and it combines aerobics, cardio and body conditioning...my point in designing such a class was to encourage stay at home or part time working mothers to get together, exercise and share tips, gossips and pain during the workout hour! My goal is to get all mothers to look fabulous and to feel fabulous forever!!!!! Muscle Memory & Your Workout - Blog Entry11 Feb 2008 09:52 PM I designed workout for women after pregnancies and the results are really satisfying but as you mentioned the muscles have a memory and in order to overcome the problem of stopping and not being able to develop further we need to increase either the weights we work with or the amount of repetitions or as you suggested we have to have diversity in our workout...and a great diet. |
