We've been using magicjack for about a year and a half now, and I think it's definitely worth it. It almost seems like there is a small sound delay when we're talking to people, which was really a problem for me in the beginning. However, considering the low cost, and our need to cut down on expenditures, it is worth it for us. If someone is calling in and we have youtube playing something, etc. we will have terrible reception. Sometimes we'll answer the phone, and say, "can we call you right back?" close down whatever's loading on the computer, and then call back w/ fine reception. The pluses? You can take it with you anywhere-motel, etc. and get your calls from home to you wherever you are-whether in state, out of state, out of the country . . For us, the only numbers available were numbers that were not local numbers . . so that could factor into your decision. In the end, we are a one income family, trying to cut costs, and despite some of the negatives, it is an incredible savings. I've contacted their customer service before and they were helpful . .

You can scramble them w/ a fork w/ some milk & cheese and then put them in a bowl w/ a little cooking spray. Cover it and microwave for about a minute, and it's done :) I tried it one time we were at a hotel that I thought had a kitchenette, but instead only had a microwave. I had brought eggs for breakfast, and tried cooking them in the microwave, and it worked ;)

We've made scrambled eggs in the microwave, too, or quesadillas for lunch. You can actually do a lot w/ a refrigerator & a microwave! Where there's a will, there's a way! Then you don't have to feel so guilty about going out for dinner when you've saved money all day!

Court is Adjourned--for Now--in Madonna's Adoption Appeal - Blog Entry

I guess I don't understand how life in an orphanage is such a great option. Yes, nutrition and some care, but . . . And what is the deal with a birthparent not visiting, or having any kind of contact and then suddenly interfering when the child has an opportunity to be adopted and live in a family environment? It seems like the height of cruelty.
