I have enjoyed each one! Thank you! Gina Adjustment at Home - Blog Entry05 May 2007 02:10 AM Hi Pam! We're back from Korea w/ Grace, and what a perfect article for me to be reading in the wee hours of the morning ;) Grace is 11 1/2 mo. too, and has been doing well during the day, but then the sad, mournful crying at night. She is finally asleep now. She has been enjoying the podaegi, but it's been hard to transfer her from the podaegi down to bed w/ us! Poor thing! Lots of praying that the Lord will comfort her. Last night I was crying too as she sobbed. She had such a wonderful foster mother. What a hard thing for her to have to go through. Slow Down, Grandma - Blog Entry23 Apr 2007 12:07 PM Thank you SO much for your series of articles on traveling/arrival, etc!!! It couldn't have come at a better time! We just got the call from our agency this morning and will be traveling in the next few days to bring our daughter home :) Feeling Different from Family? - Blog Entry20 Apr 2007 08:52 AM What a great article, Pam! Were there any places you visited while in Korea that you would recommend? I wrote an adoption story book for our son, including pictures of the places we visited on our trip to bring him home. I thought it would be fun to visit different places this trip & include them in her adoption story book. Ease Your Child's Transition: Learn Cultural Child Care Practices - Blog Entry31 Mar 2007 01:37 PM We too were really impressed w/ ESWS. We had no idea the scope of their ministry/work w/ birthmothers, special needs, job training, etc. Dr. Kim's love for the children was so poignant. I will always treasure our meeting w/ him! What do DH & DD stand for? Thanks! Gina Introducing My Family - Blog Entry31 Mar 2007 01:34 PM Hi Pam! After I wrote that I couldn't access his blogs, I was finally able to. For some reason when I clicked on "more from this blogger" nothing was showing up. I think we're waiting on both the US visa approval & her exit visa/travel papers from Korea. We saw her on our agency's waiting children's list in Jan & felt like she was our daughter. At that time she was "travel ready" b/c of her age, etc. but not officially assigned to us. We've rushed to update all our paperwork & are now just waiting on the visa ;) What does DD stand for? Thanks! Gina |
