That means I have the pleasure and honor of raising our 7 yr old grandson. Now I must say it's not all fun and games, but he's a great kid, very bright, funny, engaging and thinks his Nan is WAY cool! Having raised three children to adulthood and done a bit of foster parenting adds to my parenting bag of tricks with this little guy. Married for 31 years to man who truly is my better half makes this newest journey doubly pleasurable. I hope to contribute some musings (and possibly sage advice) of a grandmother raising a 7 yr old during midlife, menopause and memory lapses. Rock on! |
