Losing 100 hair a day is considered to be normal. Nevertheless, your daily hair care routine cannot be the cause of excessive hair loss and if you are experiencing excessive hair loss, it will be because of underlying causes due to medications during the phase of pregnancy

Drink 10-12 glasses of water daily and have
a high protein diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables and dairy products.
Iron-deficiency Anemia can also cause hair loss,
make sure that you eat a well-balanced iron-rich diet!!

Hormone related hair loss You don’t have to worry about this type of hair loss. Usually it’s a temporary form of hair loss that takes place after pregnancy.
During pregnancy women stop shedding their usual amount of hair. After giving birth the body goes back to normal and the shedding takes place once again.
Some women lose their hair from taking a hormone called DHEA. A few women often mistake DHEA for other supplements (like DHA). You should avoid taking this drug at all cost.

Estrogen is the culprit here. About 6 weeks after giving birth, estrogen plummets causing hair that was once in the resting phase during pregnancy to go to the active phase (shedding). It’s very normal for this to happen. I started losing hair like crazy exactly 6 weeks after both of my pregnancies. It will slow down about 6 months post partum, then you will return to normal. Hang in there!

1- One widely held belief is that the over use of chemicals on the hair can cause hair thinning and eventually hair loss. If you like to enhance the look of your hair through chemical means, but are nervous about future hair loss, it is a good idea to only have this type of work done by a licensed beautitian. Many do-it-yourselfers are too inexperienced to properly perform chemical treatments to their hair, having a tendacncy to over apply the products. If you do color your hair, it is thought best to keep the frequency to a six or eight week minimum.
2- It is important to eat healthy foods and ensure that your body is getting the vitamins and minerals that it needs. Often times the body will show poor health in the hair follicles and finger nails before and actual illness is detected. While it is important to get enough of the right nutrients, it is just as important not to get too much of any one type of vitamin. For example, too much of vitamins A and E, have been linked to hair loss.
3- When and if an illness is detected, it is important to take care of your health needs. If the doctor has prescribed medications, take it. Failure to follow the doctors advise will cause your body to work harder just to stay alive, it won’t have enough energey to keep the hair follicles growing and will eventually lead to hair loss. This is an excellent form of hair loss prevention.
4- The style that you wear your hair can also be a hair loss prevention opportunity. When ever possible, avoid pulling hair into styles that require it to be pulled tight and bound with elastic for long periods of time. While hair accessories have become much more hair friendly during recent years, hairstyle such as tight ponytail, pig tails and cornrows can still do damage to the hair shaft and ultimately to the hair follicle.

Well, you need to take advantage of these hair loss prevention tips below:

Be Careful of Hair care Products
You must be very selective of the hair loss and hair care products you choose to use. Not everything is safe and beneficial for your hair. Over 90% of commercial shampoo contains an active degreasing agent called Sodium Laurent Sulphate that leads to thinning hair with continued use.

A great way to avoid losing hair to such types of shampoo is to go for the all-natural types containing hair stimulating herbs such as saw palmetto, green tea, and tea tree oil.

    Practice Scalp Massage Daily
What can scalp massage do for a man losing his hair? A lot. The main reason why all men should consider practicing scalp massage daily is because it stimulates blood circulation and sends blood to your follicle roots.

They use the nutrients from your blood as a means of producing more and more hair. You can easily solve a receding hairline in some cases just by massaging your scalp with your fingertips daily. Receding hairlines often stem from a lack of circulation in the scalp region.

Believe it or not, women battle hair loss just like men do throughout life. And unfortunately for the female population, it is occurring much more frequently than it used to . The good news is there are hair loss solutions that can help battle this. Here are a few different kinds of treatments to consider.

    1. Systematic treatments:
This consists of taking a pill or some other form of internet treatment that will affect your entire system. Although it can be quite effective, physicians are reluctant to use this approach until they know for a fact that your hair loss is due to an excess of androgen in the system. The reason for this is because systemic treatments will lower the body’s androgen levels.

    2. Cream/foams:
There are different kinds of creams and foams that you can rub on spots that are becoming bald. While this is a temporary treatment, some do deliver positive results and it is a rather simple way to correct the problem. One of the most popular items on the market is Rogaine. Although it has delivered successful results it comes with a generous price tag.

    3. Low Level Laser Therapy
If you are not familiar with low level laser therapy treatment, it is vital you learn quickly as this is one of the top hair loss solutions today. Laser treatment has become and extremely popular way to battle hair loss as it is a quick and lasting approach to strengthen the hair.. Hair Growth Laser 50 is a particular product that uses 50 650 nm lasers that will get the job done. All you have to do is turn it on and watch as your hairs become stronger and healthier than ever before. In comparison to to other treatments on the market low level laser has no side effects and once you purchase the laser there are no more on going costs.

People suffering from extreme stress will usually experience hair loss, albeit a temporary one. Still, it would be better if you try to de-stress your life in order to prevent hair loss. You can start by making sure that you get enough sleep or eating the right diet. Exercise will also help you get rid of work-related stress.

If you must know, your hair can be damaged by hair products that contain harmful ingredients. Getting your hair dyed frequently or having it permed can also result to hair loss. Even the use of shampoos and other styling products such as hair spray, gel or mousse can damage your hair, leading to hair loss. If possible, choose hair products that are made from natural ingredients such as aloe vera, rosemary and sage.

Subjecting your hair to frequent dye jobs as well as complicated hairstyles might do your hair follicles harm. If you are serious about hair loss prevention, you should make sure that you are not cruel to your hair.

Losing your hair is inevitable if it runs in your family. Men, in particular, are known to suffer from male pattern baldness, which has been established to be a hereditary condition. If you have a family history of hair loss, it would be wise that you start taking care of your hair as early as possible and not waiting for the hair loss to become really bad.

Of course, all these tips will be useless if you will not ask the professional opinion of hair loss experts. These professionals can certainly help you with your hair loss prevention plans.

I have experienced the same thing. My hair used to be very thick. Just the other day I hear on the radio about a supplement called Ovation for hair. It’s worth a try. I am also going to take a trip to our local vitamin shop here in Seattle called Super Supplements – these places usually have great advise on what to get.
