Life to the LEFT!

Well, I have finally gotten my point across! I am LEFT HANDED and I don't really care what the rest of the world does--I want things where I want them!

When you visit my home the silverware will NOT be in the drawer you expect and that's just how it is here. My computer monitor WILL be set to my right and I don't care how you like yours....my mouse will be made left handed no matter who wants to just check their email -- really quick.

Sorry but in My World things go LEFT! Not right and for once in my life it's just NOT my problem. Go ahead and read my left handed calendar....and tell me what date next Tuesday is? Do you find it difficult to read my backwards calendar? Well, that's how I feel when I read yours. I paid extra money for the Left Handed sewing machine I got in the 11th grade and I would rather not share it in the first place.

Everyplace I go I live by your rules and play in your world... So at my house be ready to feel awkward and clumsy and not know where anything is. If I can have my way and make my life left handed I will be doing it!

I understand that there is less then 10% of people in the world like me... I understand that everything is set up for the 90% of you! That is just fine but, now that I am in charge of one little place in my world I will make it work for me.

And, no I won't just live with the monitor on the left side for a few days! I will buy longer cables and drill holes where I need to in order to make MY World the LEFT Way!

I'm left handed also but guess what we think with the right side of our brains :) I don't know what they are called but when you go to stores, pay by credit card and have to sign your name on those little screens. I almost need to ask the person standing next to me to move over a little so I can get into position to sign my name. And I always have to adjust the little monitor or reposition the pen.

Oh my gosh I just hate those things!!! I am such a Drama Queen that I always make a big ordeal over the complete discomfort they are for me to use.... And the Cord is Always Way toooooooo short and goes over the screen and gets tangled up in things....

Thanks for the wake up call. My 11 year old is left handed and I appreciate knowing these things. Actually he can use both so maybe it is not an issue. Would be nice to see a visual on how to correctly set his table, etc.
