When my daughter was 7 and a half weeks old, I got this nasty form of tonsilitis and they put me on some heavy duty antibiotics and steroids. I pumped and dumped for 10 days while I was on the medication sot hat she wouldn't get any of it and the doctors were great about asking me if I was breastfeeding when they were prescribing it so they didn't give me something that would dry me out as a side effect -- still -- that poor baby.
