Thank you everyone, I appreciate all the great thoughts, hugs and prayers. I spent the day with my kiddo, we went to the library and then we went on a stroll through an outdoor mall we have here and wandered in and out of shops -- it was actually very relaxing and it helped.

I have only ever received 2 speeding tickets in all my years of driving, I tend to be anal about speed. But one day, I was in a hurry, I was irritated and I was tired -- I got pulled over for doing 40 in a 30. My daughter was in the backseat and when she started asking what was wrong as the police officer walked up to the window, I said "Mommy was bad. She broke the rules and the officer is going to give mommy her time out." My daughter was really upset, so the officer leaned down and said, "But because your mommy was honest and admitted her mistake, I'm going to let her have a warning. It's always best to tell the truth and be honest, even when you do something wrong."

I will never forget that -- my daughter hasn't either. She remembers that we need to obey the speed limit and she never lies about what she did wrong -- so far so good!

LOL! That's great -- I watch my husband and my sister-in-law do that to my mother occasionally, but I don't think I'm as bad -- except when my mom overindulges my daughter and then I'm like -- hey -- I'm the child here remember !

My daughter celebrated 100 days last Friday and we built a 100 piece project from 10 sets of 10 -- it was pretty funny and they had a great day!

I had that problem, at one point, but my husband was really anal about how he kept the books for finances and I learned really quickly how to keep track there.

Oy Sherry! I remember years ago, I was working an exhausting and punishing schedule and I was falling down tired, but my boss was insisting I come into the office for a meeting, my husband told me to take his car because he had more gas than I did and I ripped the side mirror off his car as I was backing out and I stared at that and then pulled back in carefully, went inside and told him what I'd done. He was very quiet, he was very practical and he was very terse and I remember saying "You're not being very nice about this." He replied very calmly, "I'm not yelling at you for breaking my car, that's as nice as I get at the moment." Thankfully, it didn't take much to repair it -- but yeah, I hated telling him that!
