Dealing With A Skunk Attack - Blog Entry

29 Dec 2006 12:57 PM

Having gone down the skunk path more times than I can count -- always start with the tomato sauce or juice before using the shampoo. If you try to move indoors to shampoo your dog without having gone the other route -- you will NEVER get that smell out. Unfortunately, I lived on a farm for years and my dogs got skunked about once every six to ten months -- so the tomato helps to neutralize a lot of that horrid odor and you want to do at least one rinse outdoors, weather permitting as much as possible

Dr. Phil Doesn't Get Homeschooling - Blog Entry

25 Nov 2006 09:35 AM

This will sound bad but it's Dr. Phil --- pfffffffft. I can't stand that sanctomonious know it all. I don't homeschool, but I have seen very valid arguments for it -- but having a real debate with real valid points wouldn't be shocking television that lets him come off sage and all knowing and overbearing. But that's just my two cents.
