I still think back on that Christmas and turn white. I would not want to repeat it, but if I ever had another baby around that time of year -- trust me -- things would be a whole lot different.

Aerie, sitting still and healing can actually be harder on the mind and the emotions than working out. You might practice meditation and visualization during this stage -- giving you a greater mental understanding of where you are healing and how you are putting yourself back together -- this can do wonders for your focus as you're getting back into shape.

Yes, it can be hard. I know a lot of people felt bad for me, but I did register and I sent out notices and let them know what I needed. I received a lot of gifts, including some beautiful handmade items from the grandparents -- so that was nice. But it can be hard to think of doing it for yourself when we all promote throwing them for other people.

LOL - I felt the same way on Tuesday when I went in for Thanksgiving lunch with my daughter. It was a great meal and the food was actually pretty good.

It was a hard call, but the one they needed to make. I understand that for most Christians (or Churchgoers as the one man said) would enjoy this 'educational toy' but a Jewsih family or a Muslim family may just very well not. This isn't about slapping the religious right. It was a very generous offer and I hope that they make it again to the Christian charities that collect similar toys for Christian families.
