Do You Febreze? - Blog Entry

27 Jun 2006 11:22 AM

The allergen reducer is fantastic -- I have a huge allergy to dust. But using the Febreze two or three times a week is ideal for both refreshing the house with all our zoo of pets as well as keeping my allergies in check. I love this stuff.

If I haven't mentioned it before -- thanks for all the great breast feeding articles. I think they are a tremendous help and the more education out there to help women balance their options -- the better.

Bachelor Party Ideas - Blog Entry

Thank you for such a kind comment! I am glad I could help. Keep an eye out here, I plan to post more ideas for celebrating the bachelor and bachelorette party in ways that don't require 'bad' behavior or 'questionable' choices -- it's better to take the time to enjoy yourself -- but not at the cost of respect or morals.

LOL -- you aren't the first mom either -- I wasn't expecting Cassidy to shimmy out when she did and I think it tickled her that we were so floored and it's hard to not show a reaction -- it's even worse when you think they did it before you knew they could!

I agree that the new law is likely necessary and I appreciate you sharing your experiences. I've never known any mail order brides, though I have known a number of foreign nationals married to U.S. citizens (including my own mother) and I am glad that the government is being proactive in recognizing and dealing with the issues.

Help! I Don't Have Enough Milk! - Blog Entry

I was successful for several months and my sister in law exclusively pumps for my nephew and at 9 months, they are both still going strong. I think it really does come down to the support and the type of equipment. I leased my breast pump from a lactation consultant and it was a higher end, stronger machine and my sister-in-law has done the same. I stopped breast feeding after my daughter was six to seven months old, but by that point we just couldn't keep up with her appetite -- on the other hand, she benefited well from what I could do and I was happy with that.

Don't Be a Breast Milk Bully - Blog Entry

Yes, we do all do the best we can. I want to thank everyone who's responded here today -- you've all made valuable contributions in knowledge and experience. I've had negative and I've had positve. I wanted very much to breast feed, but my daughter wouldn't latch and we ended up going for the breast pump and splitting the difference. But to be made to feel as though you are incompetent is not cool. And that to me is what a bully does whether they are pushing formula or breast milk or some other product.
