I'm not ready for it. I wasn't ready for that Sniper movie they made about the Snipers that began a killing and terror streak on my anniversary that lasted until my husband's birthday. I knew people at the Pentagon. I saw the World Trade Center explosion in 93. I hardly think the survivors of Pearl Harbor wanted to see a movie about it three years later and I don't want to see these stories now. They were real people. I read about them. I cried for them and I know their families still mourn.

The rest is just spectacle.

Now THAT's AWESOME! I've been doing the eating portion for a few days because he suggests doing that for a couple of weeks and I've already noticed a difference. Unlike other diets, I'm not missing foods -- if that makes any sense!

I think your posts are fabulous. You give a great perspective on being male, family-oriented and fatherhood. You're also great at giving insight into a point of view that is seriously neglected. Sometimes the best advice is found in the moral of a shared story rather than pounding the information home. As a blogger myself, I find myself dancing on a fine line at times. But I have found your perspective to always be one that is refreshing and if it does nothing else -- it makes me go hmmm ... (Am I dating myself here?)

I loved seeing Dirk Benedict in the A-Team. I was still a huge fan from his Battlestar Galactica days when the A-Team was on. I also liked how the A-Team would be creative when they built their weapons or their tools. A MacGyver effect, but as a team effort. Not to mention the interactions between Murdock and B.A. were a howl! Thanks for writing this T.B.!

Deviled Eggs. That's all you have to tell me and I show up. My sister-in-law used to visit us when we lived in another state and the first night she was there, I'd boil two dozen eggs. She had to make me one platter to snack on for the next few days or she couldn't stay! Thanks for these!

Query letters are the bane of my existence. Or they used to be. I could never think of a great way to encapsulate the information so that not only would it entice an editor, but actually make them want to see the article. The best advice an editor ever gave me is think about what you read on the back of a book. Does it make you want to pick it up? That's what you have to do in your query.
