Thank you for sharing that. You are not wrong about the assumptions people make based on dress. There is a lot in the news about the treatment of women in severely oppressed atmospheres such as Afghanistan.

What makes freedom of choice so important to me -- is that you choose to follow your faith and dress the way you do. It is your choice. You are not required nor threatened to do so. I can admire and respect choice. I am learning a great deal through your blogs and I can't begin to thank you enough for sharing.

That's a great article. One of my dogs gets hay fever. When we lived in Virginia, she used to get lots of draining noses and stuffed up eyes. She would be miserable. We found that by washing her face daily, it reduced the amount of pollen and hayseed on her, dropped her allergies. So -- we did for her what we did for our daughter -- worked out all the way around.

Hi Michele,

Great article. I've had similar problems and since we travel so much, we've done just about everything from sewing things onto the bags, to adding colorful scarves to putting bead danglies on the zippers.

Great article Aimee! I have always loved the term antioxidants. Before I did reading up on the subject years ago, I thought it was for people who didn't get enough oxygen. The things we come up with. I also agree with researching advice -- all the ads say antioxidants, antioxidants, antioxidants -- it's like carrying the banner is enough to make people want to eat, drink, consume or otherwise supplement their diet. Understanding WHY you need it is better than just taking it because it seemed like the healthy thing to do.

Luckily, I love apples and I love spinach.

I agree about the pacifier recommendation. My daughter would have nothing to do with one, so I never had that issue. The lactose intolerance is not something that occurrred to me. I would like to do some pieces on food sensitivities in babies. Thank you for the notes!
