BEAUTIFUL. Thanks Anna. So many parents wait too long to get help when they recognize unsafe behavioral presentations in their kids. There's no shame in it and it's generally not a sign of bad parenting. Please, do as Anna suggests - unsafe behaviors - ask for help.

Thanks Anna. What were your other methods? Sounds like they were effective. Be interesting to see if your big kids do actually spank or if they're just winding you up.

UGH!!!!!!! - Journal Entry

Well I think you're pretty cool Tracy - where would I be without your photography blogs. If I'm in Australia and you're in the U.S, it has to be published for me to be able to read it. Live what you've just said: I will not allow people to minimize me or my efforts. I dare you to do a journal entry or blog on all your successes. Mxx

Thanks Nicole - I so wish I had super duper parenting skills but now that the aspergers is confimed I am left feeling dreadful when I reflect on all the times I yelled at my son when he was having major meltdowns. Funny though, I also feel relief that his behavior is not a reflection of bad parenting!!!! Go figure. Thanks for your positive thoughts.

Journaling Written By Hand - Blog Entry

I do rather like my hand writing - when I have time to write!!!! My scibbled work notes are always hard to read because I'm in such a rush but my hand written love notes and cards always look great. I handwrite on every single page I make - even if it's just to sign my name and date it. Like you, I value the personality in hand writing.

Hey True Blue: Steve Irwin, our Mate, He's Fair Dinkum Gone. - Blog Entry

Post script to article: The below extract came through email this morning. I thought it relevant enough to share as another way that people are coping with giving understanding to their loss. MB

Hello all

I am sure all will agree with me when I say on the 4th of September, Australia lost its hero, its son, its mate.

Therefore to commiserate and celebrate his life I suggest that the 4th of September should be made into a public holiday for Queensland to remember the boy from Beerwah.

Only once in a lifetime are we touched by someone who is not only willing to make a difference but someone who has the ability to open our eyes and show us the true value of being an Australian.

Let's show our appreciation, support and love for Steve Irwin - The Great Australian.

Please enter below your name, suburb and postcode and forward to all friends and family to show your support - celebrating a true Aussie.

If you are the last person contributing to this please forward the signed email to irwinwarriors@hotmail.com.

Please show your support!

Thanks FM - that almost produced a flood of tears. I am grateful for the diagnosis as it means all the players in his life can now work from the one page. The week has just been a little too full on between my husband and son. I think I need a holiday!!!!!!! Thank you for your positive thoughts and offer of friendship. You're one sunnymummy. Mxx
