Your're welcome QA. The Australian Aboriginee is a much misunderstood person. Their culture is FANTASTIC - extremely rich and spirtiual. Unfortunately, white colonization has done them a great dis-service and we continue to blame Aboriginal culture and ways. Understanding the effects of the past goes a long way toward healing and ending family violence.

Yes I admired her too. She never even wavered - she believed her granddaughter and that was that. I went to her funeral and really felt the loss of a person who made good choices and could act protectively.

Yes its horrible isn't it. Grandfather abuse is only too common. But...you've got to remember that not all men sexually abuse. I hope your friend has recovered from the dreadful shock and betrayal and is surrounded by support. Were the kids all okay?

MJ I am no longer a practising Christian but your blog has struck a chord with me (no, not enough to make me run to a pastoral counsellor). Your gentle nature and acceptance of faith is truely inspirational.

One of my supervisees recently said: I don't do remorse, I do intelligent regret. Your blog has echoed her sentiment. Do not run from your regret, run to it with an informed decision.

Interesting. My partner has been encouraging me to advertise making albums for special occassions. Although he's an accountant, he can't get his head around how you NEVER get compensated for the time spent on an album. He's only too keen for me to pick up bargain tools at garage sales though.

It's certainly going to make an earth moving memory for all those visitors. I grew up in PNG and we regularly experienced earth tremors. They were scary. I am glad that your family are all okay and you haven't reported any fatalaties at all so I hope that the Island residents and visitors were ALL safe.
