Oh dear - I must be mentally healthy (well, today anyway!). I have no problem with myself, like my company, and trust myself. I also hate having to share my champagne and chocolate with others so therefore it always pays to have oneself as ones best friend! (Of course, I'm being funny here - I do share)

Thanks for your comment P, the influence of the position is a real issue. While many Muslim women's groups are shunning the comment, the back lash against Muslims in general is intolerable. I DO NOT condone violence against anyone. In retaliation to the vocal women's groups, I do fear for the "influence" that may be sanctioned upon them for going against their spiritual leader.

Today is Reclaim/Take Back the Night. Time for us all to peacefully voice our desire to end sexual violence against everyone. Thanks for leaving a comment on the emarch for men. Your support of ending sexual violence is greatly appreciated.

Schools Continue to Fight Bullying

I would support this idea. The fear of worse bullying is taken away by the anonoymous nature of the report. They have similar programs for work places and crime stoppers so why not for kids at school.

I must invite the wrong people to my dinner parties because I can never get a word in edgeways! I have to introduce topics to get them to leave - it's easy, I just start talking about the issue of incest at about 1am and they all go home.

We love the Berenstain Bears, still. My youngest is 11 and oldest 24 but we still all refer to Berenstain lessons from over the years. Excellent books and T.V for all ages.
