Last week, it was a hidden deal. My ad showed it at $2.99, I had the cashier scan it and it rang up $1.99, so .99 after $1 coupon. I also bought a few bottles on clearance.

No, Only the amount you actually pay out of pocket (after coupons, ecbs) is counted towards your quarterly spending total. So if your subtotal is $30 and you use $15 in coupons, only $5 is counted.
