A Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

An Odyssey in the Psalms: Psalm 18 Conclusion

Last week, we saw how effective is the righteous’ prayer, during times of adversity. Through David’s experience, God reveals to us that He is ready to rescue His children when the enemy breaks in their lives. So that they might keep savouring the peace promised to those who trust God and His Sovereignty, the Lord’s redeemed must build a deep and stable relationship with their redeemer.
