An Odyssey in the Psalms : Ps 15

This psalm represents what every Christian should know in order to sojourn in the tent of the Eternal, to live in the continual presence of our God.

  David had the heart to ask this question to God and look at the response from Him

A Psalm of David.

1 O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill?

2  He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart;

3  who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbour, nor takes up a reproach against his friend;

4   in whose eyes a vile person is despised, but who honours those who fear the Lord; who swears to his own hurt and does not change;

5  who does not put out his money at interest and does not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved .

Do you think that it is possible to do what God ask of us?

I really think that it is possible.

Because changed our heart. He gave us the capacity and the power to put in application what his word tell us, not in a legalistic spirit, but with the Spirit of grace that dwell in us.

Putting in application the word of the master: “Love thy neighbour as yourself” we are assured to leave the door of our heart wide open to the presence of our God.

Prayer:

“Thank you Lord, for changing our hearts so we could do you will. You are giving us the strength to please you and to put in practice what your Word invited us to do. Thank you for your wonderful support. »

  God week in is presence!
