I have six children, Jennifer, 19, Kristina, 17, Ryan, 14, Marissa & Cailtyn (fraternal twins), almost 11 and Isabel, almost 3. Three of my children don't live with me anymore. Jennifer, Kristina and Ryan. I am a domestic violence survivor, and I'm an advocate for children with special needs. It comes from having children of my own that have special needs. :) Jennifer has bipolar disorder. Ryan has ODD, ADHD, and is CD. Marissa is ODD, ADD, and CD. She also has seizures and is on anti seizure medication (Depakote) to control the seizures. Isabel has Sturge Weber Syndrome, and has had seizures. She's on Carbatrol for her seizure control. She has a port wine stain on her face that she's had four laser treatments on. The next one is scheduled for August 23. *sighs* I don't work out of the home as of yet. Waiting for my youngest to go to Early Childhood and Head Start. I enjoy the time that I spend with her. My ex husband sees the twins every other weekend, and goes on visits with him. Isabel, my youngest, goes with her stepmom every weekend, while her dad works weekends. Before October 2005, I didn't believe in guardian angels but that soon changed, when my daughter and her friend were almost killed by a drunk driver. My daughter and some friends were on the side of the road changing a tire on an interstate when an 18 year old guy was driving while under the influence, and hit a truck that was parked behind my daughter's friends truck, just as she was getting into the larger truck. It knocked her onto the ground, where the other truck rolled on her back. She suffered two fractures of her pelvis, some mild asphyaxia (sp?), and some memory loss. She now has PTSD because of this accident. Because of this and talking to other victims of drunk drivers, I am a proud supporter of M.A.D.D. Um... I can't think of anything else to tell you.
