She told me that he would literally run around in circles, he was unable to communicate w/ adults, etc. He now is an average 1st grader who has been mainstreamed w/ no problems. You would never know that he was severly autustic by talking w/ him or looking at him. He can hold a normal conversation w/ you and is a sweet boy. Good article. Our weather has been the same as yours. The boys shoveled our little side street so I was able to get out. The borough didn't plow it and it was a sheet of ice. How to Tell - Blog Entry21 Jan 2009 08:50 AM Our son is unable to tolerate lactose. When he has milk with lactose he has a severe intenstinal reaction. While at a 4th of July party last year he had cream cheese, without knowing, and we had to leave the party. I've also noticed that his asthma is gone. He used to have a naggy type of cough, not now. He is much happier without lactose. lol I wish there were more lactose-free foods available for him.
