Getting Baby Clothes for Free - Blog Entry

06 Jun 2007 12:01 PM

Janet and Mary Ann, Yes I am a bit surprised by the ads. You see I have three very precious boys ages 12, 12, and 13 and I seek to protect their hearts and minds from the things of this world. Obviously I can't protect them forever but I am very proactive about what comes into our home. One of the boys was looking over my shoulder while reading Mary Ann's blog and I had to quick shut the screen of my laptop. Thank you for taking the time to explain this to me. Blessings, Laura

I am terrible at yard sale-ing. I can count on one hand the amount of times I have purchased stuff at a yard sale. I guess I am not frugal at heart. lol Laura

Make It Last: Your Broom - Blog Entry

11 May 2007 05:34 AM

It must be an OCD thing but I never use my broom to sweep outside and inside. We have two brooms one for the inside and the other for the outside. I think that saves on the wear and tear of our inside broom. Hanging the broom up is an excellent idea. We generally just leave our broom out all day b/c of the mess that accumulates on the floor. At the end of the day I hang it up. lol Laura
