I have a ton of baby girl clothes that I hate to give away but we are quickly running out of space in our attic. We can't store anything in the basement b/c it gets wet down there. I may end up having to get rid of some of them though. Laura Freezer Soup Is Free - Blog Entry01 May 2007 05:26 AM My grandmother used to do the same thing. Laura Storing Staples: Milk - Blog Entry27 Apr 2007 12:56 PM After freezing milk for over a year I have come up w/ a trick that helps our raw milk thaw out so it isn't ''clumpy." I leave the milk out on the counter until it is about warm temperatures. I also shake it every few hours so that the fat, aka clumps, melt into the milk. I have to watch the milk in the warmer months b/c it thaws out in about a day. In the colder months a whole gallon takes about 3 full days. Happy cleaning!!! Laura What Did You Pay for Milk in April? - Blog Entry24 Apr 2007 01:53 AM Mary Ann, I still pay $4.50 a gallon for milk. Our organic, Amish farmer hasn't raised his prices since last year. I am hoping he doesn't raise them again.
