If we had a showing we would make sure the towels that were hung up on the back of the door in the boys room were put away. I actually would fold the towels up and put them back in the linen closet. lol I am not a clutter person so it was pretty easy for us. We did have to put stuff in our friends garage until the house was sold. Selling our current home may be a different story. lol I am still not a clutter person but we are much more spread out in this house. Would I pay someone to stage a house? No WAY!!! lol You can watch shows on cable that help you learn how to stage house. Blessings, Laura Make Your Clothes Last Longer - Blog Entry11 Jan 2007 06:13 AM Mary Ann, I don't use cold water when I do laundry. I use warm and then rinse on cold. I usually buy powder Tide, but liquid has been on sale. lol When powder doesn't dissolve I put my hand in the washing machine and just swish the detergent until it dissolves. Hope that helps. Laura Make Your Clothes Last Longer - Blog Entry10 Jan 2007 12:56 PM A quick comment! I am a Tide user! Tide helps get out stains and I have found that my clothes "last longer." I pay more money for it but it works the best!! Another observation with laundry is to wash with like fabrics. I don't wash jeans with towels, etc Laura (the laundry queen) lol Would You Use A Sawdust Toilet? - Blog Entry08 Jan 2007 05:29 AM YIKES!!! I have found a way around it. I leave it on the counter and as it thaws I shake. I leave it out until it is room temperature and shake it every hour or so. I priced organic milk last night and it was over three dollars for a half a gallon. Yikes! Gasp!! Laura How Much Did You Pay for Milk Last Year? - Blog Entry03 Jan 2007 09:39 AM Mary Ann, Yes, I freeze my milk. I generally will buy 5 to 6 gallons at a time. I usually get about a month out of the 5 to 6 gallons. It depends if we have hot cocoa a lot or not. lol Laura How Much Did You Pay for Milk Last Year? - Blog Entry02 Jan 2007 03:31 PM Okay I have to tell you how much I am paying for a gallon of raw milk.....(drum roll please) lol $4.50!!! The price has went up over the past year b/c of gas prices. Laura Frugal Food: Saving Money on Pizza - Blog Entry28 Dec 2006 06:52 AM This is a suggestion for an article. The suggestion isn't really about pizza but food in general. lol We are trying to eat more healthy, therefore we stay away from things with MSG, trans fat, etc. I used to love to use cream of chicken soup but it is loaded with not good things so my suggestion is how to cook healthy and not break the bank. It is very challenging and a weekly struggle for me. I would love help with this. Thanks! Laura Do Those Book Reward Programs Really Pay? - Blog Entry28 Dec 2006 06:34 AM I second Paperbackswap.com!!
