Laura Baby Blog Week in Review: October 13th Through October 19th - Blog Entry22 Oct 2008 05:08 AM Mary Ann, I am joining this discussion late but I wanted to answer your question. lol The only supplements my children take are regular, good old fashioned vitamins from Trader Joe's and Cod Liver Oil. The trick is to get the child/children to get their vitamins from food instead of supplements. My chiropractor warned us against the fluroide b/c she said it was poison in our bodies. She gave me a homopathic supplement but I don't have that right in front of me. lol Laura Should You Hold Your Child Back a Year? - Blog Entry22 Oct 2008 05:03 AM Every child is different. Some children need to be held back b/c they just aren't ready to head off to school. Our family has taken a very laid back approach to preschool-3rd grade. Meaning we didn't do a whole lot of formal schooling. We enjoyed tons of great books!! They enjoyed a lot of hands on activites also. My sons are doing very well in school and haven't suffered from a laid back approach to the early years of school.
